Wilson’s locally owned and operated grocery store and deli, Aspen’s Market, hosted another one of their signature Market Table Dinners on January 17th. Profits from the dinner were donated to support R Park’s reclamation from a gravel pit to a community park.
Corey Milligan, R Park Advisory Board member, owner of New West Knifeworks, and featured chef of the evening, prepared eclectic winter tapas-style dishes with wines paired by Dave Erickson from Westside Wine & Spirits.
Managing Park Director Elisabeth Rohrbach said,
“As a nonprofit creating and managing a natural park for the enjoyment of our community, we at Rendezvous Park appreciate being the dinner’s nonprofit beneficiary. After all, it’s a park for the community, shaped by the community, and thanks to events like this, also supported by the community.”
Many thanks to the Aspen’s Market, Westside Wine & Spirits, New West Knifeworks and all their teams for such a fun and tasty evening!
