Rendezvous Lands Conservancy will host biweekly tours offering the community an opportunity to enjoy R Park and learn about its history, mission, and features.
“Along with the Snake River Pedestrian Bridge’s completion, landing on R Park’s southeastern corner, we opened R Park’s “doors” just last September. This will be its first summer open to the public and we welcome the community with open arms,”
said Elisabeth Rohrbach, R Park’s managing director.
From June through September on Tuesdays at noon and Fridays at 4pm all are invited to explore R Park’s diverse amenities spanning the 40-acres. Tours will incorporate special guests including the Snake River Fund’s Program Director, Teton Plein Air painters, the Cougar Fund specialists, EcoTour Adventures guides, and more. Tours will meet at R Park’s big knoll with the flag on top.
Additional summer events include:
- June – September Fridays 9pm – Wyoming Stargazing viewing in R Park’s meadow
- June 2nd 9am to 2pm – Teton Plein Air Painters demonstrations
- June 18th 5pm to 8pm – R Park’s third annual Summer Solstice Celebration
Rendezvous Lands Conservancy Executive Director Steve Foster said,
“We are thrilled to see how R Park is already embraced by the community⎯ it offers a great natural setting for families and friends alike to enjoy.”
