All summer R Park’s partners, Wyoming Stargazing, have been fulfilling their mission to educate and inspire people through Wyoming’s extraordinary skies. Their, free stargazing evenings will continue through October, concluding on Friday, October 30th.
Executive Director Samuel Singer’s enthusiasm for astronomy is infectious and his background as an accomplished astronomy educator and amateur astronomer promise you’ll learn a ton,

Their giant Dobsonian Telescope with a 20″ primary mirror will allow the viewing of planets, stars, nebulae, galaxies, and more!
Viewings take place on Fridays from 8:00-10:00pm. Feel free to show up for whatever portion of the program works for you. Park in the northern parking area – directions – and follow signs into the meadow.
These free, public stargazing events are made possible by a generous grant from the Wyoming NASA Space Grant Consortium, NASA Grant #NNX10AO95H.
