Because Rendezvous Park was a commercial gravel pit for decades, the past few years have been spent reclaiming the property, including ~90,000 square feet of wetland improvement, ~7.25 acres of improved, naturally fed waterways, and ~19 acres of enhanced and accessible native riparian habitat. We are not finished reclaiming the once barren and rock-covered landscape, but we have made significant progress, and thanks to a generous grant from the LOR Foundation, we are nearing completion of the park.  We are thrilled the park is now open for the enjoyment of the public and look forward to more sunny days and bright yellow foliage in the fall.
